The Bury St Edmunds Youth Council have recently kick started some music events for young people with partners CEG Theatre Services & Amplitude Music Club CIC.

We are always on the look out for new talent and welcome any bands at any time to contact us. And if you think you can't play because your a jazz musician rather than a rock band then you're wrong! We are looking to put on special music nights for all types and styles of music as well as combining dance and visual arts. The only qualification you need is to be a local young person with a passion and talent.

Ok, so now you might think 'I don't have any musical talent?', well that doesn't matter, you can still get involved. We are recruiting for new youth council members all the time and this might for you just mean being part of the events team - you will get to learn how to produce events and projects and could even get qualifications from it. And if you're just interested in learning the lights and sound of the event then that's great too, just get in touch.
