The Bury St Edmunds Youth Council is a voluntary group run by young people for young people. We are an organisation with membership open to anyone between the ages of 13 and 19, on the one condition that they respect other members of the council and the community.

We were set up with the aim to network local youth organisations and promote a voice for young people in and around Bury St Edmunds. This has never changed. Since we were established in 2004 by Emrys Green & James Cook, we have grown in members and experience. We have run a wide variety of many successful projects, and are beginning to be more widely recognised.
